Our Journey
Teresa and Gavin met in college in 1997 while studying drama, and from that moment their creative journey began. Together they built a strong career in theatre before moving into film, where their shared passion for storytelling truly came alive.
Over the years, they have become award-winning filmmakers, producers, and screenwriters whose work focuses on amplifying under-represented voices. Their films explore themes of human rights, social justice, and cultural identity, always aiming to spark dialogue and connection.
They went on to found NOVA PRODUCTIONS, a multi-award-winning film production company known internationally for impactful documentaries and narrative films that resonate with audiences worldwide.
Teresa is also the founder and director of IBERSCREEN, reflecting her commitment to celebrating cultural exchange and storytelling on a global stage.At the heart of everything they do is one belief: stories have the power to inspire, connect, and create change.
Currently, Nova Productions is going through an exciting phase, having secured production funding from Screen Ireland. We are in pre-production for our next feature film, Worlds Apart, slated to begin filming in late 2026.
